Kuldeep Sagar Blessed with a melodious voice and impeccable music skill, he has a magnetic stage presence and enthrals the audience with an exceptional performance. He is a fine Hindustani classical and light music singer like, Bhajan, Ghazal, Geet, Sufi and Thumaris. His compositions are based on Traditional regas and he prefers to sing compositions of Contemporary poets. He is not only an outstanding vocalist but also excels in other areas like Teaching, composing and music direction. Kuldeep Sagar is working as a faculty of Hindustani Classical Music in Alaap Music Academy, Chennai, which was affiliated with Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. He was also the visiting Faculty forthe Department of Hindustani Music in K.M. Conservatory run by Oscar winner Shri. A.R.Rehman. He can be considered to be a forerunner in the field of Hindustani classical music in Chennai. His contribution to the advancement of Hindustani classical music and Spreading awareness of the tradition of southern part of India has had an indelible impact. Shri Sagar has over 15 Years’ experience in teaching Hindustani Classical and Light Music. This is visible from the increased number of students approximately 250. Kuldeep Sagar has performed widely in India and abroad, earning popularity for his classical renditions as well as his Ghazals. He regularly sings for All India Radio, Doodarshan and for others Privet Channels. He has several lecture-demonstrations on Indian Music to his credit, and has conducted music and theatre workshops too.
