Vidya Prakash has 30 years of industry experience of which she spent close to 20 years in the Executive Search business. This experience in the Search Industry has enabled her to understand the Industry perspective from a Client, Candidate and Consultant angle. She was the Executive Director with Stanton Chase - India franchisee operations, which was then acquired by RGF, part of 22 bil USD Japanese HR & Information Services Company, Recruit Holding Co. Ltd. The search experience has been an interesting voyage handling CXO level searches. During this period the focus was on developing Business and executing assignments in Consumer, Retailing & Services and Manufacturing Industry. An in depth understanding of executive aptitudes & market trends which helped identify leadership talent and successfully integrate them into corporate structures. Has personally handled and successfully built the Top Management Team in various Consumer & Retailing, Manufacturing and Shipping sector for reputed Multinational and Indian Companies. Vidya is known for her relationship management equally with Clients and Candidates. Her Approach is that of a Consultative mode which is key to success in this business. Prior to moving into the Executive Search Industry Vidya had an exposure to various facets of HR as she spent the initial 10 years of her career in Human Resources Dept. with Usha International, Delhi, a Consumer Durable Company which is into Sales & Marketing of Sewing Machines, Fans & Appliances and BGR Energy System, Chennai a German Joint Venture company which is engaged in manufacturing and selling Equipments for Power Plants. She has a Post Graduate Degree in Science and started her career with Research on Birds. However, she moved on to corporate life and made the best out of it. About a year back she took a sabbatical from the corporate world to pursue her passion of travel and music. She has a bucket list of places to see globally and is working on her plans to achieve that. She is also planning to engage actively with cancer and Alzheimer patients and their families to contribute in a small way back to the society.
